| Back to EXERCISE page |

Strong Shoulders not only gives a prominent figure it help with pushing and pulling motions. Shoulders help to lift objects above our heads and push stuff away from the body. The shoulder is comprised of a front, top, and rear deltoids. As a result of this, the shoulders are indirectly used when performing some isolation exercises for other areas. This makes strengthening the shoulders critical in assisting with chest, back, and overall arm strength.

Click on the images below to see more exercises that will work the targeted areas. The same exercise may work multiple areas. To find different exercise routines that will maximize your gains, view the Routines page.

Strengthening each aspect of the shoulders will help in exercises for other sections of the body and ultimately enable lifting more weight.
